Zihwa Insights is looking for a Senior Collections Executive to own our receivables process. This is a hands-on role where you will directly follow up on outstanding payments, build relationships with accounts payable teams at client organizations, and ensure timely collections through persistent follow-up and field visits when needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Collections Ownership: Own the end-to-end collections process for assigned accounts portfolio.
- Follow-up Execution: Follow up on outstanding receivables through calls, emails, and in-person visits.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with accounts payable teams at client organizations.
- Dunning Management: Coordinate dunning activities, send reminders, and manage escalation workflows.
- Field Visits: Conduct field visits to client locations when required to expedite collections.
- Payment Tracking: Track payment commitments and ensure follow-through on promises.
- Cross-team Coordination: Work closely with sales and operations teams on account reconciliation.
- Reporting: Report collection status and aging analysis to CFO and leadership.
- Risk Identification: Identify and flag at-risk accounts early for proactive intervention.
- Dispute Resolution: Support resolution of billing disputes and discrepancies with clients.
Job Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
- Professional Experience: 4-7 years of hands-on B2B collections experience.
- Industry Experience: Experience in distributor, manufacturing, or trading environments preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in English and Kannada (Hindi is a plus).
- Field Comfort: Comfortable with field visits and client-facing interactions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
- Independence: Ability to work independently while keeping leadership informed.
- Follow-up Discipline: Strong follow-up discipline and attention to detail.
- Portfolio Management: Experience managing a collections portfolio of 50+ accounts.
